Bill Lepler named Managing Director, Thoughtware Worldwide, LLC

SAN FRANCISCO, California, September 20, 2005 — Thoughtware Worldwide, LLC announced today the appointment of William (Bill) Lepler as Managing Director, spearheading Thoughtware Worldwide’s value measurement practice focused on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space. Bill brings over 20 years experience leading measurement and analytic practices for such leading CRM providers as OgilvyOne, Overture and Digital Impact as well as deep client experience with Limited Brands, J. Crew, HBO and Showtime Networks.

Bill has direct experience in the challenges of justifying the return-on-investment (ROI) of technology investments and what it takes to convince senior management on the impact and value.  Also, as a former customer reference himself, Bill understands, first-hand, the importance of measurement transparency and how independently quantified results play a role in convincing prospective customers on what is possible.

In his new position, Lepler will lead Thoughtware Worldwide’s CRM practice, overseeing client delivery, research and development of Thoughtware Worldwide’s exclusive database of ROI studies quantifying results achieved at real-world customers.

Most recently, Lepler served as Vice President, Data Management/Measurement and Analytics at Digital Impact, Inc., a division of Acxiom. Prior to joining Digital Impact, Lepler lead Overture Services’ (now Yahoo! Search Marketing) Marketing Analytics group having been recruited from Limited Brands, where Bill was head of CRM, managing a $60 million budget contributing over $100 million in incremental profit in 2001.

Lepler is a graduate of Oberlin College, Yale University and holds a M.B.A. from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management in Quantitative Marketing. Bill is active with the Direct Marketing Association, the National Center for Database Marketing and a frequent speaker on performance marketing, measurement and the power of analytics.
